Shan Masood’s double ton, Sajid Khan’s six-for highlight President’s Trophy action

Off-spinner Sajid Khan claimed six wickets on the second day of the first round of the President’s Trophy Grade One tournament on Monday.

According to details, SNGPL declared their first innings at a massive 575 for five against Sahir Associates, with Shan Masood producing a superb double century at the National Bank Sports Complex, Karachi.

Masood was dismissed after scoring an impressive 216 runs.

In reply, Sahir Associates were bundled out for 136 in their first innings, with Aasim Ali Nasir top-scoring with 50 runs.

Sajid Khan took six wickets for just 22 runs.

Following the follow-on, Sahir Associates reached 68 for three in their second innings by the close of play.

At the National Bank Stadium, WAPDA were dismissed for 151 in their first innings against KRL, with Sharoon Siraj scoring 77 runs.

Mohammad Hamza starred with the ball, claiming five wickets for 36 runs, while Arshad Iqbal took three wickets.

KRL responded strongly in their second innings, reaching 189 for seven.

Waqar Ahmed scored 52 runs, while Shahzaib Khan contributed 51.

Naqeebullah picked up three wickets.

Meanwhile, at the UBL Sports Complex, Ghani Glass were bowled out for 246 in their first innings against OGDCL.

Mohsin Riaz led the batting with 98 runs, while Ali Razaq scored 62 and Sharjeel Khan added 53. Danish Aziz claimed four wickets for OGDCL.

In response, OGDCL reached 75 for two in their second innings.

At the State Bank Sports Complex, State Bank were dismissed for 153 in their first innings against PTV, with Hassan Raza scoring 49 runs.

Imad Butt and Israr Hussain picked up three wickets each.

PTV ended the day on 191 for five in their second innings, with Mohammad Suleman unbeaten on 75.

Mohammad Abbas claimed three wickets for State Bank.
