Govt announces cut in fuel prices

The government on Saturday announced a cut in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the Finance Ministry, the petrol price has been cut by Rs5 per litre and the new price will be Rs111.60 per litre.
The price of high speed diesel has been cut by Rs5 per litre and the new price will be Rs122.260.
The price of light diesel has been cut by Rs7 per litre and the new price will be Rs77.51 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil has been cut by Rs7 per litre and the new price will be Rs92.45 per litre.
The new price will be effective Saturday midnight.
