A teenager was killed by the stray dogs in Phularwan area in the outskirts of Sargodha city.
Thirteen-year-old Saim Ali was on way to school when the dogs mauled him. Locals found his body later which was unrecognizable.
The Commissioner of Sargodha took notice of the incident and the city administration constituted a team that would present its report within 24 hours.
As the relatives of the teenager decided not to pursue the matter on any level, the Assistant Commissioner Sargodha has ordered the officials to kill the stray dogs. “The dogs who killed our child were the stray dogs. It is of no use to pursue the matter as the dogs did not belong to anyone,” said the uncle of the teenager.
Meanwhile, in another dogbite incident, six-year-old Shazaib was seriously injured by the stray dogs in Rangpur area.
