Punjab IGP Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that strict legal action should be taken against those who make and sell kites and metal strings.

He also requested mosques for special awareness announcements to be made about restraining from aerial firing.

The Punjab top cop also ordered to take action against online sellers of such material and ordered his officers to set up special raid teams at night also in Multan, Lahore, Gujranwala and Faisalabad.

The IGP urged citizens to shun and stop such activities for the sake of entertainment.
