Electricity feeders tripped as rain showers in different cities of Punjab, KP

Different regions of Punjab province Sunday received light rain while some received heavy showers of rain which tripped the electricity feeders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Lahore:

The weather in different areas of Lahore got pleasant after a light shower of rain followed by a cold breeze which increased the cold and took the temperature at 14 degrees according to the Met department. The wind in the city was recorded to be at a speed of 32Km/H whereas the humidity ratio was recorded to be 63. The highest and the lowest temperature was expected to be 20 and 11 respectively. More rain showers are expected tomorrow in Lahore.

Gujranwala:

Gujranwala and its surroundings also received a share of drizzling along with a cold breeze which dropped the temperature further.

Gujrat and Sialkot:

The weather of Gujrat and Sialkot got colder due to the light showers of rain followed by cold winds. The electricity feeders in both the cities tripped as the rain and winds started blacking out the cities.

Islamabad:

The Federal capital also received a fair share of rain fall. The weather became even colder after the rain.

Murree:

Snowfall started in the Queen of mountains Murree and the intensity of the cold increased very much. The temperature dropped to -5 degrees and the Met department forecasted snow to fall tonight as well as tomorrow as well.

Sahiwal:

Sahiwal and its surroundings received rainfall increasing the intensity of the cold. The digging and construction works on the roads made potholes which were nuisance for the public.

Attock:

Cold winds following drizzling made its way to Attock and its surroundings which increased the cold and the humidity in the weather. The cold speedy winds tripped many feeders and blacked out the entire city.

Southern Punjab Cities:

The cities of Southern Punjab including Wazirabad and Pakpattan and their surroundings were drizzled over which increased the intensity of the cold.

Heavy rain with thunders were showered over other cities including Kamoke, Sangla Hill and Muridke bringing back the severe cold weathers. The rains are expected to continue according to the Met department.

Rain and Snowfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:

The tourist points in the Northern Province like Abbottabad, Thandiani and Galyat received rain falls and snow fall which dropped the temperature down even further.

The cold winds in Abbottabad followed the snow fall dropping the temperature further down.
