Pakistani actress Iffat Omar took to her Instagram and lashed out at Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for economic meltdown. The actress vented her ire and demanded an explanation from minister for worsening the economy and putting the country on the verge of default.

Iffat wrote:

“Sorry Ishaq Dar but you can’t use religion to shift blame. It was your promise to turn things around you and made it worse. You have to admit your mistake and explain us what went wrong. If we are supporting PDM doesn’t mean we won’t question you. Perform or go.”

Iffat criticized the Finance czar tried to shift the blame and stated that Pakistan is the only country founded in the name of Islam and Allah is responsible for its development and prosperity, as the cash-strapped nation faced an acute balance of payments crisis.

It is pertinent to note that Iffat Omar has always been very vocal, opinionated when it comes to politics. She has repeatedly accused Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister, for using derogatory words and instigating violence. She frequently mentions how much she admires Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
