Jamaat-e-Islami offered all possible support to the governments of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in the federation and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in the Sindh province.

The 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday that the JI's candidate for mayorship Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said that his party does not want the politics of conflict.

JI Karachi leader Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said that the mandate of his party in Karachi should be recognized as the seat of the Mayor is their right.
