A passenger has climbed an electricity pole in protest against the railway police who refuse to register a report of theft of his goods in a train, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the initial reports, an unknown passenger was going to Karachi from Rehman Baba Express train when his luggage bag was stolen.
At the Rohri railway station, he tried to lodge a complaint at the concerned police station about his stolen goods but the police did not cooperate. The police officials reportedly considered him a lunatic person and refused to register a case in his favor.
According to the eyewitnesses, the desperate passenger took an extreme step and climbed an electric pole erected nearby the station.
Other passengers kept stopping the passenger but he paid deaf ears to their requests.
All of sudden, he slipped from a considerable height and fell straight to the ground, and got seriously injured.
To his dismay, the railway police instead of taking him to a nearby health facility for the treatment of his serious injuries sent him away through the Karachi-bound train ‘Hazara Express’ forcibly.
Rohri Railway Police expressed indifference to the whole matter.
