Fire wreaks havoc in Haripur, Murree forests 

A fire broke out in the forest of upper hilly area Jalis in Haripur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

According to officials of forest department of Haripur, fire engulfed a large area of ​​​​the forest.

The residents of Haripur are busy trying to control the fire.

According to District Forest Officer, due to difficult roads, the fire could not be controlled yet.

Along with the locals, the forest department officials are also trying to control the fire, DFO said.

DFO further said, the fire is rapidly moving towards the residential area. Fire broke out in a private area and despite this, the forest department staff is trying to extinguish the fire.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out in forest near Gharial Camp in Murree.

The firefighters of Rescue 1122 reached the spot for extinguishing fire.

From the last some weeks the incidents of fire at different areas of Murree forests are continuously occurring.
