Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has took to the Twitter to respond to the victory of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sialkot PP-38 by-polls.

The PML-N vice president termed the PTI victory a result of selection and stressed her party workers are still in high spirit.

“Defeat and victory will only be known when elections would be held. So, there is no victory or defeat in the selection,” she tweeted.

A one-page government (of PTI) that collects people's curses does not expect the people to vote. So it is forced to make a selection. The spirits of the lions high. The vote will be honored soon.

Earlier this morning, Maryam has tested positive for Covid-19 and quarantined herself at home. She recently came back from Azad Jammu Kashmir where she campaigned for her party candidates.
