The Punjab University (PU) Friday announced a 10 per cent increase in pensions of its retired employees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PU vice chancellor issued a notification in this regard, increasing pensions of the PU retired employees by 10 per cent.

According to the notification, the 10 per cent increase will be applicable to the employees retiring from April 1 last.

The PU also issued a notification to adopt the notification of Punjab Finance Department.
