Brooklyn sails off with Peltz clan on luxury yacht as Beckhams arrive nearby

Brooklyn Beckham has made a splash in Saint-Tropez, quite literally, by arriving on an £85 million, 80-metre superyacht belonging to his billionaire in-laws, as tensions with his father David Beckham continue to simmer.

The 26-year-old eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham was seen enjoying a lavish Mediterranean break with his wife Nicola Peltz aboard the mega-yacht Project X, reportedly rented by her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, at a staggering £1.2 million a week.

The luxury vessel, which boasts a glass-sided pool, spa, wellness suite, 360-degree sundeck, and accommodation for 12 guests with a crew of 28, is double the size of David and Victoria’s own £16 million yacht Seven, which docked in the same French port two days later.

“Brooklyn’s yacht dwarfs the one owned by David and Victoria,” a source told The Sun. “It’s a financial flex. His relationship with his parents is beyond repair, and Nicola’s family have clearly become his primary circle now.”

The public display of opulence comes amid a well-documented rift between Brooklyn and his famous family. Sources close to the situation claim the feud, first reported in May, deepened this month when brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, unfollowed Brooklyn and Nicola on social media.

David and Victoria, vacationing with their children Harper, 14, Romeo and Cruz, were reportedly taken aback by the public nature of Brooklyn’s recent posts. One image even showed Nicola nude in a bath on board Project X, while Brooklyn shared photos of himself enjoying beers with billionaire father-in-law Nelson Peltz.

Brooklyn and Nicola, who have also been shopping in Saint-Tropez and meeting friends in Cannes, were spotted catching up with Brooklyn’s godfather Sir Elton John. Sources say the singer is staying neutral in the family drama, acting as a “spiritual adviser.”

“Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland,” an insider said. “He’s not taking sides ... he just wants peace.”

While a reconciliation between Brooklyn and his parents seems unlikely, the optics of the competing yachts in Saint-Tropez speak volumes about the fractured state of one of Britain's most high-profile families.
