Despite the vow made by Punjab Minister Ataullah Tarar recently that he would get tough on rapists and pedophiles, such crimes continue to make headlines as in yet another bone-chilling incident a woman was gang-raped by eight men at Kunjah, Gujrat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.  

The rapists then threw 25-year-old Faiza, who hail from Lahore, on Dinga Road in a critical condition and fled.   

And despite the registration of case by the police against three nominated and five unidentified persons four days ago, the woman’s tormentors are still at large. 

According to the police, the men enticed Faiza by promising to marry her but later going back on their words and subjecting her to rape.
