Four-year-old Karachi girl found with razor injuries

June 29, 2022 03:28 PM

A four-year-old girl from Karachi’s Pak Colony area on Wednesday was found to have been attacked and injured with a sharp-edged razor, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On seeing bruises on different parts of the child named Ayesha’s body, a woman, who was lying on the bed next to that of the girl in the hospital, reported to the police, while the hospital administration, on the other hand, said that the same girl had been brought two months ago as well with the same injuries.

Soon teams of police and the Child Protection Bureau also reached the hospital.

Doctors told the police that while some parts of the little girl’s body bore injury marks, the blood was oozing from the others.

Not only that, later it came to light that Ayesha’s sister too had injuries on her body.

Police officials said there was a possibility that the girls’ mother might have been herself inflicting wounds on her daughters with the razor.

They further said that three tests of Ayesha had already been conducted.

They informed that forensic test of the blade would also be conducted.

The situation would become clear in the next 15 to 20 days, they hoped.

Furthermore, they added, they were also collecting information from Ayesha’s neighbours.
