A station house officer (SHO) from Khyber district was held along with his constable son while smuggling heroin worth millions of rupees to Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to police, the accused identified as Shoaib Afridi, the SHO of Mulagori police station, Jamrud tehsil, Khyber district was smuggling 12kg of heroin along with his constable son to Peshawar in a car.

Peshawar police arrested the SHO and his son, recovering the heroin concealed in their car. A case was also registered against both of them.

Further investigations in this regard was underway.
