SHC to hear heirs’ petition against Aamir Liaquat’s post-mortem

The Sindh High Court (SHC) will hear a petition of the heirs of late TV presenter and former politician Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain on Wednesday (today) against the post-mortem of the deceased, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A two-member bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC), headed by Justice Junaid Ghaffar, will hear the petition.
Earlier, the SHC had suspended the judicial magistrate’s order for exhumation and post-mortem of late PTI lawmaker and TV host Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
Judicial Magistrate Wazir Hussain Memon had allowed the post-mortem of the Dr Aamir Liaquat’s body.
It is to be noted here that famous TV host and MNA Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain died on June 9, 2022 in his house in Karachi.
The heirs of Aamir Liaquat had maintained that they did not want a post-mortem of his body.
