Husband hurls acid at 'paramour' of his wife

A jealous husband threw acid at a man suspected of having an affair with his wife in Multan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the details, a horrific acid attack was reported near Band Phatak, in the jurisdiction of Thana Sital Mari in Multan, where a man named Shahzad was severely injured after being attacked with acid.

According to police sources, the accused Mani suspected the victim of having illicit relations with his wife. In a fit of rage, he allegedly threw acid on Shahzad and fled the scene.

Rescue teams rushed the injured man to Nishtar Hospital for medical treatment, where his condition remains under observation.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect and assured the public that the culprit will be apprehended soon.

Authorities are investigating the case to uncover further details and determine the full circumstances surrounding this shocking crime of jealousy and violence.
