Pakistan-Turkey diplomatic channel buzzing ahead of ARF
Dar connects with Turkish FM over multilateral issues
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening ties between Pakistan and Turkey across various domains.
During the conversation, both ministers also exchanged views on recent regional developments, expressing mutual interest in closely coordinating on issues of shared concern.
A key highlight of the discussion was the upcoming ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where both Pakistan and Turkey are expected to engage actively in multilateral dialogue.
