Son kills mother, injures father and brother in Jaranwala

A horrifying incident of family violence unfolded in Chak 651/2, within the jurisdiction of Lundyawala Police Station in Jaranwala, where a son opened fire on his own family, killing his mother and critically injuring his father and brother.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene and transferred the deceased woman’s body and the injured family members to a nearby hospital.

The injured were reported to be in critical condition, and both have been referred to a specialised facility for further medical treatment, confirmed Rescue 1122 personnel.

Police acted swiftly, arresting the suspect on the spot, and have begun a thorough investigation into the motives behind the attack.

The Lundyawala Police have launched formal proceedings as the community reels from this tragic case of family betrayal and bloodshed.
