Twelve family members collapse after poisoned meal in Khairpur

A tragic case of suspected food poisoning has sent shockwaves through the area as 12 members of a single family were left unconscious after consuming contaminated food. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, among the victims are women and children.

The incident took place in the village of Deeparja, located on the outskirts of Khairpur. 

Emergency responders rushed the affected individuals to GIMS Hospital in Gambat, where two victims remain in critical condition.

The unconscious victims include Muhammad Usman, Shabiran, Nazia, Abida Parveen, Roshni, and others. 

Doctors are monitoring the situation closely, while police have launched an inquiry into the source of the contaminated meal.

Initial findings suggest that the food might have been either improperly stored or deliberately poisoned, though investigations are still underway.
