Women's dispute takes three lives in Charsadda
Karachi's Turtle Beach drowning claims life of youth despite Section 144
In Charsadda’s Shabqadar area, three members of the same family, including a husband, wife, and their young daughter, were shot dead over a domestic dispute involving women, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the details, the shooting occurred at Dulazak Bypass, where unidentified assailants opened fire, killing all three on the spot.
Local authorities said the matter was rooted in a longstanding family feud related to women.
The bodies of the victims were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Shabqadar, for legal formalities and autopsy.
In a separate incident in Karachi, a young man lost his life to drowning at the popular Turtle Beach near Hawksbay while bathing in the sea.
Rescue services retrieved the body from the water and shifted it to a nearby police station for identification and further procedures.
The deceased was identified as a 22-year-old Saqib, according to rescue sources.
It is important to note that the Commissioner of Karachi has imposed Section 144 on the city’s beaches, restricting public entry into the sea for safety reasons. Despite this, incidents of drowning continue to be reported.
