Passenger offloaded at Islamabad Airport over fake stamp
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded and detained a passenger at Islamabad International Airport after a fake Spanish immigration stamp was found on his passport during routine immigration clearance, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the FIA, the passenger, who was travelling abroad to perform Umrah, was referred for secondary profiling during the immigration process.
During scrutiny of his travel documents, immigration officials discovered a forged Spanish immigration stamp on his passport.
Further verification revealed that official immigration records showed no previous travel history to Europe, confirming that the stamp was fake.
The passenger was offloaded from the flight and taken into custody before being handed over to the FIA's Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad for further investigation and legal action.
