PIA says wearing face mask mandatory for every GB passenger

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued a directive for the passengers who wanted to travel to Gilgit and Skardu.
Airlines has made it compulsory for every passenger to wear the face mask. “Anyone not wearing the face mask will not be issued a boarding pass,” a PIA spokesman said on Sunday.
According to the spokesman, as the Airlines wanted to ensure the safety of its passengers that was why all the passengers will be sanitized before boarding the plane and also during the flight.
Keeping in view the international standards, the PIA aircraft will undergo full disinfection before the flight.
It may be mentioned here that several passengers who wanted to travel to Gilgit Baltistan staged a protest demonstration at Islamabad International Airport Sunday morning demanding flights to the region as the weather has become favourable now.
