PTI leadership brainstorming Usman Buzdar’s adjustment

The leadership of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been weighing options to adjust former chief minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, the leadership has two options to adjust Usman Buzdar. The former chief minister may be made governor, or provincial assembly speaker, the insiders said adding that PM has been taking up the matter with his party big wigs.
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib announced yesterday that Punjab CM Usman Buzdar stepped down and tendered his resignation to PM Imran Khan and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi is being named for the slot.
The minister made the announcement on social media, saying "Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi met Prime Minister Imran Khan. All issues were settled in the meeting. PML-Q expresses confidence in PM.
Earlier in the day, a lawmaker of the opposition party – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz – told the media that more than 120 MPAs signed the no-confidence motion submitted to the provincial assembly against Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar. PML-N’s Rana Mashhood said the motion has been submitted after all the matters were settled.
