Gold price up by Rs2,300 per tola

The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan has surged by Rs2,300 per tola, as per the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association on Wednesday.
The association data showed the price of 24 karats of pure gold reached Rs2,07,900 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold is also increased by Rs1,973 to Rs1,78,241 per 10 grams.
While the rates of 24 karats fine silver remained the same and traded at Rs2,250 per tola in the local market.
In the international market, gold prices surged by US$10 per ounce to US$1,967 per ounce on Wednesday.
