Ogra proposed healthy cuts in prices of petroleum products

The Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) has recommended healthy cuts in prices of petroleum products for the month of June, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The Ogra has recommended a cut of Rs7.06 in the per-litre price of petrol. However, it wanted a five-paisa increase in the price of high-speed diesel.
A significant decrease of Rs9.37 in the per-litre price of light-speed diesel was proposed but a major drop of Rs11.99 in the per-litre price of kerosene oil was recommended by the Ogra.
The regulator has forwarded the summary to the ministries of petroleum and finance for approval.
