A man was injured in the wake of a bomb blast occurred in Kalat on Sunday, a district located 137 kilometres far from Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The injured person was provided medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

In another incident, the security forces and bomb disposal squad successfully defused a bomb planted in a motorbike in Chaman city.

The bomb was planted in a motorbike parked in the Railways Colony.

Pertinent to note that voting is underway in various urban and rural areas across Balochistan for local bodies’ elections in 32 out of the 34 districts of the province. ECP will announce the schedule of the remaining two districts— Quetta and Lasbela—after the completion of the delimitation.

Polling began at 8am and will continue until 5pm without any pause.
