A suspect allegedly abused a Class-IV girl sexually in Layyah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday quoting police.

“The accused identified as Rizwan raped the girl when she was playing outside her house in Chak 139,” police said.

“The victim girl was shifted to Layyah District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital because her condition had deteriorated,” police added.

The police registered a case against the accused and launched investigation.

Layyah District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Nida Umar Chattha took notice of the incident and issued orders for the arrest of the accused as soon as possible.

“The accused will be punished severely,” vows Nida Umar.
