Arshad Nadeem set to return in Asian Athletics Championship Javelin qualifiers tomorrow

Olympic gold medalist and Pakistan’s star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem will return to action tomorrow in the qualifying round of the javelin throw event at the Asian Athletics Championship.

This marks his first competitive appearance since the Paris Olympics.

Nadeem, who has become a national hero for his international achievements, has appealed to the public for prayers ahead of his much-anticipated performance.

"I am working hard and will try to achieve success," he said, expressing his determination to make a strong comeback.

The javelin throw final is scheduled for May 31, where Nadeem will aim to secure a podium finish. He will be joined by fellow Pakistani athlete Yasir Sultan, who is also competing in the event.
