Ali Zafar, whose career spans singing, acting, modelling, screenwriting, and painting, began his artistic journey as a sketch artist at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore. Soon after, he transitioned to television, featuring in popular serials like Kollege Jeans, Kanch Ke Par, and Landa Bazar. His charm and screen presence quickly made him a fan favourite.
In 2003, he stepped into the world of music with his debut album, Huqa Pani. The track "Channo" turned him into a music sensation overnight. Zafar's Bollywood debut came in 2010 with the satirical hit Tere Bin Laden, which established him as a cross-border star.
Born into a scholarly family in Lahore, Ali is the son of university professors Mohammad Zafarullah and Kanwal Ameen.
