Mohsin Naqvi inquires about health of injured cop at PIMS
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited PIMS Hospital in Islamabad on Thursday to meet Constable Jafar Jahangir, who was injured in an exchange of firing with dacoits, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Interior Minister, accompanied by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi, and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad inquired about the injured constable's health and praised his courage and resilience, expressing best wishes for his swift and complete recovery.
He also instructed hospital authorities to provide the best possible medical care to the injured constable, emphasizing that no effort should be spared in his treatment. Addressing Constable Jafar, he said, “We are all with you and praying for your speedy recovery.”
He lauded the bravery of Islamabad Police personnel who confronted the criminals, and paid tribute to martyred ASI Sudheer Ahmed Abbasi, calling him a professional and fearless officer. Moreover, he assured the family of the martyred officer that they will be fully looked after.
