Singer Sanam Sidhu tortured at Shikarpur marriage event

Renowned singer Sanam Sidhu and her younger brother and member of team were severely tortured by her hosts, who were intoxicated during a marriage function in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Sanam Sidhu said that she was invited by the Lakho tribe to a marriage function in Meerani Mohallah, which falls under the jurisdiction of the New Fogdari Police Station.

During the event, the hosts were drunk and kept acting indecently. Later, they made her team members hostage for several hours and snatched their luggage.

Sanam Sidhu said that her hosts refused to give her fees.

Later, Sanam Saeed held a protest demonstration against the incident and demanded that the Sindh Minister for Culture and Inspector-General of Police Sindh take action against all those who were involved in this incident.
