Fraud case against Shahzad Akbar being shifted to FIA

The fraud case registered against adviser to former prime minister Imran Khan, Shahzad Akbar, and former FIA director general Sanaullah Abbasi is being shifted to the Federal Investigation Agency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources confided to 24News TV channel that the Islamabad police have decided to transfer the case, which was registered at Secretariat Police Station on October 22, to the FIA.

Shahzad Akbar, Sanaullah Abbasi and Sofia Mirza have been accused of framing a false case. The three were also accused of preparing bogus court papers.

The sources further said that the police will get ready the case fire and transfer it to the FIA.
