Court rejects acquittal plea of Imaan Mazari, Hadi Chattha

District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has rejected acquittal plea filed by renowned rights lawyer Imaan Hazir Mazari and her husband Advocate Hadi Ali Chattha, in the controversial tweet case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Afzal Majuka announced the reserved verdict of the case on Saturday.
During the last hearing of the case, after listening to the arguments of all parties, the court reserved its verdict.
Earlier on November 28, 2025, Hadi Ali Chattha, the spouse of Imaan Mazari, sought acquittal in the case.
