Court sends Lahore beautician’s murderer to jail for life

A court in Lahore on Saturday awarded life imprisonment to an accused who had murdered a young beautician, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judge Shoaib Anwar Qureshi of the Model Court sentenced accused Ehsanullah to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs500,000 for killing beauty parlour owner Hina Muskan in Lahore’s Gulshan Ravi area, but cutting her jugular vein.

According to police, Ehsanullah wanted to marry Hina, and when she refused his proposal, he cut off her jugular vein which resulted into her death.

Gulshan Ravi police arrested the accused in the murder case and recovered murder weapon and presented a challan in the court.

Prosecutor Muhammad Shabbir Khan presented 17 witnesses against the accused in the court.

The court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and a fine after being found guilty.
