A groom was gunned down at a wedding in a federal capital village, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Friday.

The incident occurred in the Kohsar police precincts.

The deceased, Wasiq Abrar was shot in the chest, leaving him dead on the spot. 

The shooter fled from the site after committing the crime. 

The body was shifted to a hospital. According to Kohsar SHO, an investigation is underway.
