Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and former prime minister who is leading a so-called long march dubbed as Hqeeqi Azadi March Saturday said that his only demand is to hold fair and free elections.

The rumour mills were rife regarding an ‘important meeting’ as Imran Khan left the long march and went back to Lahore.

However, the former premier took to Twitter to dispel these rumours saying his only reason to return to Lahore was that it was closer and we had already decided not to move at night.

He said the only demand for the last six months is for getting a date to hold fair and free elections.

“For all those spreading rumours about my mtg in Lahore, the reason we returned was bec Lahore was closer & we had already decided not move at night. The only demand I have had for 6 mths is date for early fair & free elections. That will be the ONLY demand if talks are to be held.”
