LHC rejects Imran Khan’s plea seeking clubbing together of cases against him

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday rejected the petition filed by former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, seeking clubbing together all cases registered against him due to the non-perusal of the case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aalia Neelum heard the petition.

Imran’s lawyer Intezar Hussain Panjutha did not appear in the court.

Assistant Advocate General Punjab Omar Waqas Sial told the court that 107 cases registered against the PTI founder in 10 districts of Punjab were presently sub judice, while a report on the number of cases registered against him in 26 other districts of the province was yet to be made public.

The former prime minister had made the Punjab government, IGP, Punjab and others respondents in his petition.
