Court rejects Zakir Jaffar’s parents bail pleas in Noor murder case

The Islamabad High Court has rejected the post-arrest bail applications of the parents of accused Zahir Jaffar in the Noor Mukadam murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq on Wednesday heard the bail applications of Zakir Jaffar and Asmat Jaffar Adamjee - parents of accused Zahir Jaffar.
Justice Farooq rejected their post-arrest bail pleas.
The court has reserved the judgement over the bail applications after hearing arguments.
The court has also ordered the trial court to complete the trial in eight weeks.

On July 20, 27-year-old Noor Mukadam, daughter of former ambassador Shaukat Mukadam, was found butchered in an upscale residence in Islamabad belonging to Zahir Jaffar, the son of a leading tycoon.
Police discovered Noor’s body with severed head and arrested accused Zahir Jaffar standing near the body.
Shaukat Mukadam registered a case against Zahir accusing him of his daughter’s brutal murder.
