The Karachi chief meteorologist has warned fishermen against going into the sea till October 3 as the low-wind pressure still persisting in Indian Gujrat could enter the sea in the next 12 to 48 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He forecast heavy rain in Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Umarkot, Mirpur Khaas, and others districts of Sindh.
He also warned of urban flooding in the wake of fresh spells of rain in the province. He said 60 to 70 KM per hour wind is expected.
The chief meteorologist said strong monsoon currents are penetrating in Sindh and are likely to continue during the next few days as continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
He directed fishermen to abstain from going into the sea from Thursday to October 3rd (Sunday).
