Umar Sharif property case: SHC extends stay order

The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday sought replies from comedian Umar Sharif and other parties in the transfer of property case situated in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court rejected the plea of Mohsin Shahvani, lawyer of Umar Sharif, to take back the stay order already given in the property transfer case.

The court stayed the order till the next hearing to be held in the first week of November. The court directed all parties to prepare for the case.

The court inquired whether Umar Sharif sold the flat as the claimant party made the statement they acquired the flat from Zareen Ghazal, third wife of Umar Sharif.

Umar Sharif’s lawyer told the court that his client only challenged the sale and gift deed of the property.
