The Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel on Thursday held a passenger at Peshawar Airport, foiling an attempt to smuggle narcotics, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

As per ASF spokesperson, the detained passenger named Wisal Ahmad hid 1.035kg of ice-heroin in his bag. 

The accused was flying to Doha from Peshawar Airport and during a search of his luggage, the ASF officials recovered 1.035kg of ice-heroin hidden tactfully in the bag.

The ASF men arrested the accused and after initial investigation, he was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for further legal action along with the recovered drugs, said the ASF spokesperson.
