Reduction in electricity tariff for citizens of Karachi is likely, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

K Electric has made a request to the National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) for a decrease in power terrify by Rs 4.21 paisa per unit.

The hearing on K Electric's application in Nepra will be held today.
