Chaman Passport Office officer, staff suspended on DG’s orders

The Director General of Immigration and Passports has suspended Passport Office Officer Chaudhry Hussain Ahmed and support staff member Inayatullah in Chaman, officials confirmed on Monday.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the suspension orders were issued on administrative grounds. A report on the matter has already been compiled and forwarded to higher authorities for review.

Further inquiry into the case is expected, and the suspended officials may face additional proceedings depending on the outcome of the investigation.
