The security forces have shot dead a wanted terrorist during an operation in North Waziristan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The security forces conducted an area sanitization operation in Boya area of North Waziristan after getting reports about presence of terrorists, said a statement issued by the ISPR on Saturday. 

During intense exchange of fire, terrorist Ashraf Ullah alias Toofani, a resident of Boya, was killed. 

Terrorist Ashraf Ullah was an active member of the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

He remained involved in target killings, terrorist activities against the security forces, extortion and planting improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
