The Airport Security Force (ASF) at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday foiled a money laundering attempt and recovered 84,000 dollars and 0.4 million rupees from three passengers who were taken into custody immediately, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All three passengers including Imran Arshad who were scheduled to fly to Dubai had hidden the dollars and rupee cash secretly in their hand-carry bags and the wheelchair they were carrying.

The ASF personnel on suspicion conducted a thorough examination and found currency hidden secretly in their bags.

The ASF then handed over the passengers and the recovered amount to the Custom officials for further legal action.
