Writer Salma Shaheen joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Tuesday. 

Author of Nuclear Command and Control Norms, Dr Salma decided to contest the election after doing her PhD. She joined the PPP on the invitation of Abrar Mir, acting president of the PPP Europe. She expressed full confidence in the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and appealed to Pakistanis living in Europe and other parts of the world to join the Pakistan People’s Party.
