A man named as Nasir, who was shot by a Punjab Police constable for filing a case of abduction of her daughter against him, has succumbed to his injuries here on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per police sources, a Punjab Police constable named as Danish opened fire at Nasir on October 27 in Lahore. Nasir was under treatment at hospital since then but today he breathed his last.

Police told journalists that constable Danish had abducted the daughter of Nasir and he shot him when he filed an FIR against him seeking recovery of her daughter. Police disclosed that constable Danish was irritating the daughter of Nasir from last five years.

It is a matter of concern that the culprit is still at large and the girl has not been recovered yet.
