CTD foils terror attack in Karachi

Personnel arrest terrorist of banned outfit Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies, in a joint operation, nabbed a terrorist of banned outfit from the area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The CTD foiled a terror attack aimed at killing Chinese national residing in Hyderabad by capturing a terrorist hailed from banned outfit Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA)

The arrested terrorist has been identified as Afzal Land alias Aafi. He revealed that the banned outfit SRA is being led by Zulfiqar Khaskheli. He further disclosed that Zulfiqar assigned him a task to launch attack on Chinese dental clinic located in Hyderabad.

While talking to journalist, SSP Tariq Nawaz said that the terrorist had done recce for the attack, adding that further investigation is underway.
