MBBS results announced, NMU’s Zohaib gains top position

University of Health Sciences (UHS) Friday announced the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) Second (2nd) Professional Annual Examinations results in which Nishtar Medical University (NMU) student Zohaib Amjad grabbed the first position, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
A student from Lahore Shafaq Fatima who belongs to Rashid Latif Medical College (RLMC) succeeded to gain second position and two female students Rabia Tanveer and Sana Murtaza who belong to Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot (KMSMCS) and Faisalabad Medical University (FMU) respectively shred the third position.
In the examination, as many as 5955 candidates of 43 medical institutes appeared in which 4,960 were passed while the remaining 975 were declared as failed. According to the UHS, the success rate of candidates was 83.57 that is much better than last year result of 75.06 percent of the same class.
According to the MBBS 2nd Professional Annual Examination results, total marks were 600 and Zohaib Amjad from Multan obtained 539 marks for the first position and Shafaq from Lahore scored 535 numbers for the second position.
On the third position, both the girls—Sana from Faisalabad and Rabia from Sialkot bagged 533 numbers each. The UHS also announced that the Supplementary Examinations would start from 18th June and final year MBBS results would be announced before the end of May.
